Dawes - Peace In The Valley (support for My Morning Jacket) at The Palace, Melbourne 4 April 2012. They performed a short but good setlist to a crowd that relatively knew little about them, including me however by the end of their set the crowd had adopted them and they got a rousing farwell with lots of whistles, fist thumping and clapping. It's always great to go and see bands you know nothing much about and come away pleased. These guys are good and worth seeing. They had great harmony and I guess you could describe their sound as "Folky" or "Rythym Rock" with kick arse drumming.
